Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State Prediction: Can Alan Bowman, Cowboys Put Up Points?
Usually, Stillwater is a very tough Big 12 environment to play in but that has not been the case this season. We saw South Alabama go into Stillwater and blow out the Oklahoma State Cowboys a few weeks ago. Will Kansas State have the same success tonight? Let's break it down.

Oklahoma State has been a dark horse in the Big 12 over the last 5-7 seasons as they have seemingly always been competitive and pulled a few upsets but that is not the case this season. It appears they are in for a down year as they simply do not have the offensive firepower that they usually have. Oklahoma State was basically running a three quarterback system for the first 2-3 games but it appears Alan Bowman has finally won the starting job.

Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State Prediction
Bowman is a transfer from Michigan who did not play much while wearing the maize and blue but before that he did get some solid run at Texas Tech as he totaled over 5000 yards and 30+ touchdowns in parts of three seasons while playing for the Red Raiders. Bowman does have a lot of experience as he is a sixth year senior which should aid him tonight against Kansas State but there is a reason he lost the job at Texas Tech, didn't get any run at Michigan, and did not immediately win the Job at OSU, and that is because he simply is not very good.
On the season, he is completing just 53% of his passes and has more turnovers than touchdowns. And these numbers came against Iowa State, South Alabama, Arizona State, and Central Arkansas... not exactly a murderer's row of defenses there. The weakness of the Kansas State defense has been their secondary, but I believe they are going to feast on this very weak Oklahoma State offensive unit.
On the season, Kansas State is ranked 19th in opponent rushing yards per game and 28th in opponent yards per rush (3.2 ypc). Kansas State should be able to stop the run and force Bowman into some very disadvantageous situations, and I do not believe he is capable of making enough plays on third down to continuously move the sticks. The Kansas State defense is also ranked 28th in opponent third down conversion percentage (33%) so they do a great job of getting off the field on third downs even if they give up a lot of yards. On the flip side, the strength of the Oklahoma State team has been their defense again, which has been the case now for the past few seasons.
Oklahoma State is ranked 49th in opponent yards allowed per rush and 57th in yards allowed per play. They have played much better at home this season and I do expect them to slow down the Kansas State rushing attack. Kansas State just put a whooping on UCF a few weeks ago with 44 points and over 500 total yards and has scored over 40 points in 3/4 games this season but I do expect the Oklahoma State defense to step up and slow them down. With that being said, I am rolling with the Under 53.5 at -110 for 1.5U in this matchup between Kansas St/Oklahoma St as one of my most confident College Football Plays of the Day as I think this will be a much more lower scoring game than people may anticipate.
