The last play I want to dive into this Saturday takes us to the evening slate and I am excited for this clash between the Louisville Cardinals and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Both squads are ranked and head into this meeting fresh off of a victory. Louisville is 5-0 thus far on the year with Notre Dame sitting at 4-1 after the brutal, last second loss to Ohio State. I am ready for a strong showing from these two squads this weekend but I have to back the Irish here.

Notre Dame vs. Louisville Prediction
Louisville has played great this year and I expect a strong effort from the undefeated squad here at home but this is a get right game for Notre Dame in my mind. They battled hard for that victory over Duke last week; the defense played incredibly and picked up for the lack of production offensively and the unit really asserted themselves. Sam Hartman and the offense have had all week to prepare themselves for this game I and can assure you touchdowns are on the minds of everyone on the offensive side of the ball.
They have been moving the ball all season and are currently boasting one of the best offenses in the nation but they simply could not convert last week. Despite that, you have so much potential to dominate again this week against Louisville. Hartman is a dangerous, accurate quarterback with a lot of smarts and motivation to perform this week. Add in how lethal Notre Dame is with the run game and in the trenches on both sides of the ball, they should cause the Cardinals fits all game long. Notre Dame has an elite defense as well, I like the Irish.
