Oregon Ducks vs. Washington Huskies Prediction
This game will likely decide who makes the playoffs from the Pac-12 conference.
The Ducks and the Huskies clashed earlier in the season in Seattle.
The Huskies outlasted the Ducks in a thriller, winning the game 36-33.
Oregon had the lead late, and if they could have converted for one more first down, the Ducks would have walked out of Washington with a win.
Since that game on October 14, neither team has lost.
Oregon enters play with a 11-1 record.
That 11-1 record has earned them the No. 6 ranking in the nation.
Alabama native Bo Nix leads this Ducks offense. The Senior is the current betting favorite to win the Heisman Trophy award, and for a good reason.
Nix has thrown for 3,906 yards, 37 touchdowns, and two interceptions this year. Additionally, Nix has rushed for six touchdowns.
The Ducks have one of the best backfields in the nation, led by senior Bucky Irving. Irving has rushed for a team-best 1,043 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Sophomore running back Jordan James has been great for the Ducks, rushing for 661 yards and 10 touchdowns of his own.
Oregon possesses one of the best wide receivers in the nation, Troy Franklin. Franklin will likely be a first-round pick in the spring. The Junior has racked up 1,349 yards paired with 14 touchdowns.
The Ducks' defense ranks ninth in the nation, allowing opponents 16.7 points per game.
The Huskies will enter the Pac-12 Championship with a perfect 12-0 record.
Washington is ranked fourth, and with a win, they will be in the College Football Playoff.
Senior Michael Penix Jr. leads this Huskies offense. Penix has thrown for 3,899 yards, 32 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Penix is viewed as a top-three Heisman contender.
Junior running back Dillon Johnson leads the Huskies rushing attack. Johnson has rushed for 961 yards and 12 touchdowns. Johnson rushed for 100 yards against Oregon earlier in the year.
The Huskies have two of the best receivers in the nation, Rome Odunze and Ja'Lynn Polk.
Odunze leads the Huskies with 1,326 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Polk has racked up 943 yards paired with eight touchdowns.
The Washington defense ranks 40th in points allowed per game (23.0).
Oregon Ducks vs. Washington Huskies Pick
The Ducks are the better team and will come out strong on Friday night.
This line opened at -7, and has moved to 9.5 despite the public backing the Huskies.
Washington will not be able to beat this Oregon team two times in the same season.
Both offenses are explosive, but the x-factor in this game will be in the trenches.
Oregon has a better line on both sides of the ball, which will play a key role in this game.
The Ducks' defense is playing great as of late, and they will be able to limit this Washington offense.
The Huskies have been squeaking out wins as of late, winning their last three games by one possession.
The Ducks will change that with a blowout win on Friday Night.
