Ohio represents the MAC.

The Bobcats had a strong season with a record of 9-3. Ohio did not reach their ultimate goal as champions of the conference.

Ohio comes into play as the winner of three consecutive games.

The Bobcat's last loss came on October 28th when the Miami (OH) RedHawks took them down.

The big news in the Ohio program is the departure of starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke.

Rourke announced that he would be hitting the transfer portal. Rourke threw for 2,207 yards, 11 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

The absence of Rourke will force senior Parker Navarro into action. The Tempe, Arizona native has thrown for 65 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Sophomore Sieh Bangura led the Bobcat's rushing attack. Bangura rushed for 811 yards and seven touchdowns during the season.

Senior wide receiver Sam Wiglusz has been the top option in the passing game, racking up 600 yards and three touchdowns on the season.

The Ohio defense forced 17 turnovers this season.

Georgia Southern represents the Sun Belt Conference.

The Eagles ended the season with a 6-6 record.

Georgia Southern comes into this contest spiraling as of late, losing four consecutive games.

The team's last win came on October 26th over Georgia State.

Quarterback Davis Brin leads this Eagles offense. The Boerne, Texas native, has thrown for 3,431 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions.

Jalen White leads the rushing attack for the Eagles. The senior has scampered for 891 yards and nine touchdowns.

Khaleb Hood has been the team's top option in the passing game. Hood has racked up 917 yards and five touchdowns.

Georgia Southern vs. Ohio Pick

Ohio will be without key players in this game.

Most importantly, the Bobcats will miss their starting quarterback, which will set back this offense.

Navarro has seen limited action this year, leading to mistakes and struggles to move the football.

The Eagles have an experienced quarterback and an offense that is capable of ripping off 30+ points.
