New Mexico State vs. Fresno State Prediction

New Mexico State had its best season in program history with a record of 10-4.

Head coach Jerry Kill deserves a ton of praise for the job he has done since taking over this program.

The Aggies reached their conference championship game, but came up short to the Liberty Flames.

Diego Pavia leads this Aggies offense. Pavia has enjoyed a breakout season, throwing for 2,915 yards, 26 touchdowns, and eight touchdowns.

Pavia leads the Aggies on the ground, rushing for 856 yards and six touchdowns.

Running back Star Thomas enjoyed a solid season, rushing for 643 yards and four touchdowns.

Las Vegas native Johnathan Brady leads the team with 613 yards and four touchdowns.

The Aggies' defense struggled their last time out, allowing 49 points to Liberty.

Fresno State ended their season with a record of 8-4.

The Bulldogs come into this game sputtering as of late, losing three games in a row.

The Bulldogs' last win came on November 4th vs. Boise State.

Quarterback Mikey Keene enjoyed a strong season, throwing for 2,596 yards, 21 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

Keene is listed as questionable for today's game. Backup quarterback Logan Fife is in the transfer portal.

Junior running back Malik Sherrod leads the Bulldogs rushing attack. The California native has scampered for 876 yards and nine touchdowns.

Senior Erik Brooks led the Bulldog's attack in the passing game, racking up 771 yards and five touchdowns.

The Bulldogs defense forced 22 turnovers as a team this season.

New Mexico State vs. Fresno State Pick

This line suggests that it is a Fresno State play.

The Aggies were the better team during the regular season, and Fresno State comes into this game playing their worst football of the year, yet we see this line at just 3.5.

As long as Keene goes, the Bulldog's offense will be able to put up points consistently and keep pace in this game.

Pavia has been great this season, but he will be nowhere near one hundred percent in this game as he continues to nurse an injury.

The Bulldogs do enough to stay within this number.
