The No. 14 Arizona Wildcats and No. 12 Oklahoma Sooners are set to do battle in the 2023 edition of the Valero Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. This one should be a barn burner, and I expect nothing less.

The Arizona Wildcats are the best three-loss team in the country, and they should show out here tonight with a chance to smack the Sooners in the mouth ahead of their departure for the SEC next season. This would be a huge win for a program that took leaps and bounds forward with a successful season like this, and a big win over one of the biggest names in college football could do wonders for recruiting. This squad took down four ranked teams down the stretch, with their last loss coming in triple overtime against USC.
Oklahoma is missing several guys due to opt-outs and will also be without their offensive coordinator today. Dillion Gabriel already hit the transfer portal and freshman signal caller Jackson Arnold will have the ball tonight. OU still has so much talent and the athletes to cause issues tonight, and that is why I like the total here. I think both teams move the ball well as they have all season. The majority of the Sooners' weapons will still be there, and if Arnold can get the ball where it needs to be, we'll have ourselves a good ol' fashion shootout to end the night.
