Stanford comes into the season looking to recover from a disappointing 2023 campaign.

TCU vs. Stanford Prediction

The Cardinal represented a record of 3-9 a season ago.

That marked their third consecutive three-win season.

Except for the COVID season in 2020, Stanford has not produced a winning season since 2018, when they went 9-4.

Head coach Troy Taylor begins year two at the helm for the Cardinal.

Taylor knows it will be a rebuilding process for the program but is confident this team will be improved compared to the one we saw a season ago.

Ashton Daniels Jr. will be the signal caller for the Cardinal. Daniels threw for 2,247 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.

Miami, Florida native Sedrick Irvin is expected to take over the backfield for Stanford. Irvin ripped off 113 yards and one touchdown last season.

Star wideout Elic Ayomanor returns as the top option in the passing game. The sophomore collected 62 catches worth 1,013 yards and six touchdowns.

Stanford will look to improve on the defensive side of the ball after an up-and-down season in 2023.

TCU rolls into the season looking to make some noise in the Big 12.

The Horned Frogs reached the college football championship in 2022 but took a step back in 2023 with a record of 5-7.

Sonny Dykes' squad will have revenge on their minds this year after missing out on a bowl game.

Since 2014, this TCU program has produced four 10-win seasons.

Sophomore Josh Hoover leads the TCU offensive unit. Hoover passed for 2,206 yards and 15 touchdowns a year ago.

Texas native Cam Cook will take over the Horned Frogs' running game. Cook scampered for 58 yards in a small sample size last season.

Senior Savion Williams will be one of the top options in the passing game. Williams racked up 573 yards and four touchdowns last season.

TCU vs. Stanford Betting Picks

Stanford is getting too many points on their home field tonight.

The Cardinal roster improved in the offseason, and I believe Daniels can lead this offensive unit.

TCU struggled to consistently score points last season, and the pace of this game favors their team total under.
