Miami vs. Florida Prediction

Miami went 7-6 a season ago after a disappointing 5-7 season in 2022.

Head Coach Mario Cristobal needs to get his program back on track. This feels like a make-or-break season for Cristobal.

Miami has not won 10 games or more since 2017.

Washington State transfer Cameron Ward will come in and take over the Cane's offense. Ward threw for 3,735 yards, 25 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

Damien Martinez will take over the Beavers' backfield. Martinez rushed for 1,185 yards and nine touchdowns.

Jacoby George will be the top option in the passing game. George racked up 864 yards and eight touchdowns last year.

Miami added talent in the portal and should be improved on defense.

Florida enters the season coming off a 5-7 season.

That 5-7 record marked three straight seasons finishing under .500 for the Gators.

Florida has not won 10 games or more since 2019.

This season is a do-or-die year for head coach Billy Napier.

Napier is 11-14 in his two seasons at the helm.

Veteran Graham Mertz will lead the Gators offense. Mertz threw for 2,903 yards and 20 touchdowns last year.

Montrell Johnson Jr. leads the Gators backfield. Johnson scampered for 817 yards and five touchdowns in 2023.

Eugene Wilson III will be one of Mertz's top targets in the passing game.

Miami vs. Florida Betting Pick

I could not be higher on this Miami team coming into the year.

I view the Canes as one of the most underrated teams in college football.

Ward and Martinez make this offense one of the most dynamic in college football.

Florida still has major issues on defense, and will struggle to get stops today.
