Colorado vs. Colorado State Prediction, Pick Against the Spread, Latest Odds

The Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State Rams will meet on Saturday night. There is no love between these two programs, and for these two teams, this is one of the season's biggest games.

Colorado limps into this contest after getting blown out at Nebraska a week ago. The Cornhuskers defeated the Buffaloes by a final of 28-10.

The score does not do the game justice, as Colorado fell behind 28-0 by halftime. The loss pushed the Buffs record to 1-1 on the season.

A win today is important for Colorado if they want to keep their hopes alive of reaching a bowl game. Their schedule will become much more difficult in conference play.

Colorado vs. Colorado State Prediction

Shedeur Sanders is the face of this Colorado program. Sanders, who is expected to be a first-round pick in next year's draft, has thrown for 689 yards and five touchdowns.

Dallas Hayden leads a run game that has struggled over the first two weeks. Hayden has rushed for 52 yards on 14 attempts.

Travis Hunter leads the squad with 17 receptions worth 242 yards and three touchdowns.

The Buffs' defense has struggled in the first half this season but has adjusted well, shutting out their opponents in the second half.

Colorado State starts the contest with a 1-1 record. The Rams lost 52-0 in week one vs Texas but responded with a 38-17 win over Northern Colorado last weekend.

Last season was a struggle for the Rams, who went 5-7. Colorado State has not had a winning season since 2017. This Rams program has not won 10 games or more since 2014.

Head coach Jay Norvell feels like the program is headed in the right direction. A home win against their rival would do wonders tonight.

Sophomore Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi will lead the Ram's offense. The Texas native has thrown for 261 yards and one touchdown.

Justin Marshall leads the run game, darting for 173 yards on 35 attempts.

Tory Horton has been the top target in the passing game. Horton leads the team with 96 yards over two games.

Colorado vs. Colorado State Pick

We will ride with the Buffs on the road tonight.

While they struggled in Week 2, I believe Colorado remains the much deeper team.

The Rams should be among the worst teams in college football this year, and I see this contest as a total mismatch.

The Buffs offense will consistently have its way tonight, leading us to a cover.
