This Weekend's Best Bets: The Five Best Bets for the Weekend Ahead

The weekend slate in the NFL and college football is electric. I've added five best bets for the weekend that you'll want to consider for this weekend.

Favorite 5 Weekend Picks

NCAAF: Utah vs. Oklahoma State: Utah (+120) (Bet $100 to collect $220)

Saturday, September 21, 4:00 PM ET

Although Cam Rising missed last week's game against Utah State, the veteran quarterback is back to face Oklahoma State. It's Utah's Big 12 debut, despite playing Baylor earlier this season.

Utah's secondary looked terrific, and the run block in the run game was jaw-dropping. On the other hand, Oklahoma State's secondary has already allowed some big plays down the field. I'll trust Utah, even on the road.

NCAAF: Tennessee vs. Oklahoma: Tennessee -7 (-115) (Bet $115 to collect $215)

Saturday, September 21, 7:30 PM ET

Tennessee obliterated its last opponent, Kent State, 71-0 after scoring 65 points in the first half. Tennessee isn't playing around. But while the offense has gotten a lot of love, the defense has impressed the most.

Tennessee hasn't allowed more than 10 points to any opponent this season, including an earlier matchup against North Carolina State.

Welcome to the SEC, Oklahoma.

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Under 35.5 (-105) (Bet $105 to collect $205)

Sunday, September 22, 1:00 PM ET

The Chargers-Steelers Under has dropped from 39 last week to 35.5, but I still like it. The Chargers haven't conceded more than ten points in each of their last two games, and the Steelers have held their last two opponents to 16 points combined.

With the game at Acrisure Stadium, the Steelers' crowd will get into it, allowing the Steelers' defense to make an impact. Grab the Under.

NFL: Miami Dolphins vs. Seattle Seahawks: Seahawks -4 (-115) (Bet $115 to collect $215)

Sunday, September 22, 4:05 PM ET

There's no way I'm trusting Skylar Thompson against an improved Seahawks defense.

In addition, I would've taken the Seahawks, at home, against the Dolphins, even with Tua Tagovailoa healthy.

Seattle is strong in the secondary and can take advantage of Miami's weaknesses in the secondary. The Seahawks will probably win by multiple scores.

NFL: Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys: Ravens -1 (-105) (Bet $105 to collect $205)

Sunday, September 22, 4:25 PM ET

It's hard to imagine the Ravens falling to 0-3 to begin the season.

While Baltimore has had some poor moments this season, they haven't been blown out. The Cowboys really struggled last week against the Saints despite being on their home field.

Baltimore's miscues are more correctable.

Ultimately, Dallas has looked awful defensively against the run, and that's the one area you can't struggle in against the Ravens.
