The Clemson Tigers will host the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Saturday afternoon. It will kick off game one of ACC play for two teams that feel they are good enough to win the conference.
The Wolfpack began the season ranked 24th in the nation, but they were bounced from the top 25 after a 51-10 loss against Tennessee.
NC State bounced back with a 30-20 win over Louisiana Tech last weekend. The win improved the Wolfpack record to 2-1.
The Wolfpack have ripped off four consecutive winning seasons under head coach Dave Doeren.

Coastal Carolina transfer Grayson McCall leads the Wolfpack squad with 476 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Duke transfer Jordan Waters leads the backfield with 156 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore Kevin Concepcion has been the top target with 199 yards and three touchdowns.
The Wolfpack defense has underperformed early in the season.
Clemson starts this contest with a 1-1 record. That record has earned the Tigers the 21st ranking in the nation.
The Tigers opened the season getting blown out 34-3 against Georgia. Clemson answered back right after, winning 66-20 over App State.
Dabo Swinney's program had a disappointing 9-4 season in 2023. For most programs, going 9-4 is a successful season. However for Clemson, 2024 was the first time they did not win 10 games or more since 2010.
Cade Klubnik will look to produce 10 wins or more this season. Klubnik has thrown for 520 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception.
Georgia native Phil Mafah leads the squad, rushing for 177 yards and one touchdown. Mafa has averaged 6.8 yards per carry.
Bryant Wesco Jr. has been the top target in the passing game. The freshman has racked up 135 yards and one touchdown.
Clemson should have one of the best defenses in the ACC.
NC State vs. Clemson Pick Against the Spread
While I believe Clemson wins this game, this line is a complete overreaction. Clemson blew out a bad App State team, and looked awful in Week 1 against Georgia.
While NC State looked rough in Week 2, they match up much better against Clemon's style of play.
The Wolfpack will hang around in this game and cover with ease.
