This Weekend's Best Bets: The Five Best Bets for the Weekend Ahead

Over the last three weeks, the best bets for the weekend have gone 12-3. It's been a fantastic run!

Let's look to drag that momentum into this weekend's matchups.

Favorite 5 Weekend Picks

NCAAF: Penn State vs. USC: Under 50.5 (-105) (Bet $105 to collect $205)

Saturday, October 12, 3:30 PM ET

The Penn State Nittany Lions have allowed just 11.40 points per game through the season's first five games. Penn State has limited teams to 157 yards in the air and just 76.40 yards on the ground per game this year.

Ultimately, USC's offense struggled to succeed against Minnesota and only scored 24 points against Michigan. The offense won't score more than 24 points against Penn State. It's way more likely USC gets stuck at 17.

Plus, Penn State's offense is nothing to rave about, either. The Nittany Lions haven't scored more than 27 in two consecutive Big Ten games. It'll be the same story in this one. Take the Under.

NCAAF: Florida vs. Tennessee: Tennessee -15.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Saturday, October 12, 7:00 PM ET

Tennessee's first three home games went like this:

69-3 vs. UTC 71-0 vs. Kent State And a home team against North Carolina State, on a neutral field, Tennessee added a 51-10 win against North Carolina State.

This team shows no mercy. After a loss against Arkansas on the road, look for Tennessee to come out guns blazing against a weak Florida team.

NCAAF: Ohio State vs. Oregon: Ohio State -3 (-115) (Bet $115 to collect $215)

Saturday, October 12, 7:30 PM

The Ohio State Buckeyes haven't lost a Big Ten game to any opponent not named Ryan Day. He's 40-0 in the Big Ten and has built the best team he's ever had at Ohio State.

The Buckeyes are just as good as Oregon defensively. But it's the offense that takes the cake for Ohio State. The Buckeyes will escape on the road with a win with Walker Howard leading the show and multiple veteran running backs on the roster.

NFL: Washington Commanders vs. Baltimore Ravens: Over 51.5 (-105) (Bet $105 to collect $205)

Sunday, October 13, 1:00 PM ET

When you've got a matchup between Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels, you can't think of any other play but the Over!

The Commanders have scored at least 34 points in three consecutive games, and the Ravens have scored at least 35 points in regulation in two consecutive games.

This game should be a thriller.

NFL: Bengals vs. Giants: Giants +3.5 (-120) (Bet $120 to collect $220)

Sunday, October 13, 8:20 PM ET

The Cincinnati Bengals lost all momentum with a loss to the Ravens last week. It got so bad that the defense needed a players-only meeting after the defense allowed 41 points to the Ravens.

Meanwhile, the Giants are coming off a momentum builder, winning a game against the Seahawks without Devin Singletary and Malik Nabers. The Giants played as impressive as it sounds. They were terrific and if Eric Gray didn't fumble in the endzone, the Seahawks wouldn't have even been in the game at all.

At home, New York has the potential to outscore the Bengals. After all, New York is getting elite pressure on the quarterback defensively. Cincinnati can't say the same.
