There are some exciting matchups in the NFL and college football this weekend. I've added my favorite five bets for this weekend's matchups.
We didn't have the best of time last week. But we're still 13-7 during the previous four weeks doing these. Let's get back on track this weekend.
Favorite 5 Weekend Picks
NCAAF: Alabama vs. Tennessee: Alabama -3 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)
Saturday, October 19, 3:30 PM ET
Alabama and Tennessee have both had questionable starts to the season. While both teams are 5-1, Alabama lost at home to Vanderbilt and Tennessee lost to Arkansas.
Additionally, Alabama was almost upset by South Carolina last week while Tennessee needed a late comeback and a quarterback injury to beat Florida.
That said, Tennessee doesn’t have a powerhouse offense like we all expected. Alabama is still much better offensively with Jalen Milroe. I’ll test my luck with Alabama here.
NCAAF: LSU vs. Arkansas: LSU -2.5 (-105) (Bet $105 to collect $205)
Saturday, October 19, 7:00 PM ET
Garrett Nussmeier is a handful for LSU. He’ll do make some boneheaded decisions but can also make throws that no quarterback in the SEC can make. He proved that in the win against Ole Miss late last week.
Plus, if the LSU defense can stay consistent, the Tigers will be a tough out week after week.
NCAAF: Georgia vs. Texas: Texas -5 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)
Saturday, October 19, 7:30 PM
Georgia does not look like the defense we’re used to seeing. The defense put them in a major hole against Alabama that it couldn’t climb out of, and more recently allowed 31 points to Mississippi State at home. That is not the Georgia way or it’s standards.
Meanwhile, Texas has plenty of momentum after knocking off rival Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, 34-3. That is the Texas way.
NFL: Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers: 49ers -1.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)
Sunday, October 20, 4:25 PM ET
The Kansas City Chiefs are depleted. They're also 5-0 but haven't been that good analytically.
On the other hand, the 49ers desperately need a win, since they're 3-3 on the season and in jeopardy of falling below .500.
That said, the 49ers have way more weapons on offense and have been much better in the secondary. We've also seen Patrick Mahomes throw as many interceptions as touchdowns
NFL: New York Jets vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jets -2.5 (-115) (Bet $115 to collect $215)
Sunday, October 20, 8:20 PM ET
The New York Jets are 2-4 and have lost in every which way imaginable. But while the Jets are a circus, understand what the Steelers are doing on the other side.
The Steelers went 4-2 over the first six games and have decided to roll with a healthy Russell Wilson over Justin Fields despite his recent success.
Ultimately, I think it'll backfire. Plus, with the addition of Davante Adams, the Jets are in good position to win Sunday night's game.
