Cincinnati vs. Colorado Prediction, Pick Against the Spread, Latest Odds

The Cincinnati Bearcats are heating up as they travel west to clash with the red-hot Colorado Buffaloes. This matchup features two of the hottest Big 12 teams who will look to extend their winning ways on Saturday night.

Travis Hunter is said to be healthier and will see more involvement on offense tonight, and a high total of 57 leads to a high expectancy of scoring at Folsom Field. Will the Buffaloes avoid the upset and stack another victory, or will the Bearcats pick up their fifth win in six games? Let's take a look at the latest Cincinnati vs. Colorado odds and predict this matchup.

Cincinnati vs. Colorado Prediction

We have now reached the point in the season where the Colorado Buffaloes are back to getting overvalued. They've won four of their last five games, and would have had five straight if not for a late collapse when hosting ranked Kansas State earlier this month. They turned in convincing wins against Arizona and UCF, despite being underdogs in both games. Now, the oddsmakers are back to favoring the Buffs, getting nearly a touchdown spread at home after proving themselves in recent contests.

Shedeur Sanders has thrown for eight touchdowns in the last three games, but also has four interceptions in that same span. He is still prone to mistakes in the passing game, and giveaways could keep Cincinnati in this game. He will be targeting Travis Hunter heavily tonight, and Cincinnati knows it. If they can limit that connection, Colorado will struggle to build a lead against a solid Bearcats unit.

We're going to roll with the underdog Bearcats on the road tonight for two reasons. They have been one of the most underrated squads in Power 4 football, not receiving much attention at all for their 5-2 record. Their two losses have been by a combined four points and to great teams. A one-point shortcoming against undefeated Pitt in Week 2, and a 3-point loss to Texas Tech in a late September shootout. They played great defense last week against Arizona State, largely limiting one of the best backs in college football to just 75 rushing yards in Cam Skatteboo. Colorado is more of a pass-first offense which could cause problems, but the Bearcats are on a roll and will keep this one close, if not pull an outright upset as soon as everyone stops doubting Colorado.
