North Carolina vs. Florida State Prediction

No one is going to argue that Florida State hasn't been the biggest disaster in college football this year. They are most disappointing team in the nation, and they have shifted their focus towards recovering for next season. But despite all the embarrassment and shortcomings, the Seminoles continue to get the most suspicious lines. They were a field-goal spread against Cal, Duke, and now UNC. The amount of talent on the roster can propel them to stay in these games, they just haven't been able to put together a full 60 minutes.

Luke Kromenhoek took over at quarterback for the Seminoles, and has been showing grit under center. He ran 11 times for 71 yards against Miami last week, and doesn't seem daunted by being the third string. No one expected them to put up a fight against the undefeated Hurricanes, but they seem to be moving in the right direction with new pieces getting a chance in the offense.

Florida State's defense looks somewhat improved over the last few weeks after an atrocious start, and limited Heisman-hopeful Cam Ward to just 208 passing yards last week. They struggled to stop the run game though, so they'll have to zone in on Hampton today as UNC's passing game is not quite the same as Miami. If the offense can find a way to put up 20+ points, they'll be able to cover this number or win outright against the Tar Heels.
