The Penn State Nittany Lions were surprised to find themselves in this game, after the Michigan Wolverines pulled one of the most shocking upsets of the season last week. Michigan turned in an outstanding defensive effort to shut down the high-powered Ohio State Buckeyes, taking them out of the Big Ten Championship Game. Although PSU lost to Ohio State previously, the extra loss bumped them into position to take on Oregon, and they will look to take full advantage of this lucrative opportunity tonight.

Penn State is playing with house money here, not even expecting an appearance after their regular season loss to the Buckeyes. Meanwhile, all of the pressure is on Oregon. They are traveling across the country to Indianapolis with a perfect season still going, the only undefeated team left in college football.
