The Ohio Bobcats and the Jacksonville State Gamecocks will clash on Friday Afternoon.
The Cure Bowl will take place in the sunshine state of Orlando, Florida. The weather is expected to be great, with temperatures in the 70s for most of the game. Ohio comes into this contest as champions of the MAC.
The Bobcats have been the standard in the MAC over the last five seasons. Despite losing multiple key players in the transfer portal, Ohio has remained at the top of the conference. Ohio posted a regular season record of 10-3. That record earned them a trip to the MAC Championship against Miami (OH).
The Bobcats dominated the MAC Championship game, rolling to a 38-3 win. Head coach Tim Albin is optimistic his team will close the season strong today. The Bobcats have won bowl games in back-to-back seasons. Ohio has won five consecutive bowl games; their last loss was in 2016.
