Tennessee vs. Ohio State Prediction, Pick Against the Spread, Latest Odds for College Football Playoff

The Tennessee Volunteers and the Ohio State Buckeyes will clash from The Shoe in the first round of the College Football Playoff.

The Vols will be making their first appearance in the College Football Playoff. Head coach Josh Heupel has done an outstanding job since taking over this program. Tennessee posted a record of 10-2, landing them the ninth overall seed.

These two programs have clashed just one time. The lone meeting came on January 1, 1996, in the Citrus Bowl. The Vols got the better of the Buckeyes, 20-14. Future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning led his team past a talented Buckeye squad.

10,582 days later, these two teams will play one of their biggest games in program history. Tennessee last won a National Championship in 1998, and are hoping to get back as soon as possible.
