The USC Trojans and the Texas A&M Aggies will face off in a highly-anticipated matchup from Las Vegas tonight.
USC comes into this contest with a record of 6-6. The 2024 season was highly disappointing for the Trojans. USC entered the season viewed as a potential playoff contender. Head coach Lincoln Riley has struggled during his time in Southern California. Riley's rough season has him firmly on the hot seat. The following season will be crucial for Riley’s future.
Southern Cal began the year with a crucial win over then-23rd-ranked LSU in Las Vegas. The win moved USC up to 13th in the nation. The Trojans then defeated Utah State to soar up to 11th in the polls. The first loss of the year for USC came on the road against Michigan, and it was the beginning of the end for the Trojans.

USC vs. Texas A&M Prediction
Sophomore Jayden Maiava leads the offense with 906 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions after Miller Moss transferred. Senior Woody Marks rushed for 1,133 yards and nine touchdowns to lead the team. Makai Lemon racked up 665 yards, which led the team in the receiving game after Zachariah Branch transferred as well.
Texas A&M posted a record of 8-4. The Aggies nearly reached the SEC Championship, but Texas defeated them in a low-scoring contest to end the regular season. Despite falling short of their ultimate goal of reaching the College Football Playoffs, the Aggies program should be encouraged.
First-year Aggies head coach Mike Elko has this program headed in the right direction. In early November, A&M was ranked 11th in the nation, but lost three of its final four games to end the season.
Nashville native Marcel Reed leads the offense with 1,572 yards, 12 touchdowns, and four interceptions. Le’Veon Moss has rushed for a team-best 765 yards and ten touchdowns. Junior Noah Thomas was the top option in the passing game with 545 yards and six touchdowns.
