Buffalo comes into this contest with a record of 8-4. The Bulls delivered a strong season, and will attempt to close it with a bowl win this morning. Entering the season, Buffalo was viewed as one of the top teams in the MAC.
Buffalo posted a 6-2 conference record. That record was the third-best in the MAC. After going 3-9 last year, 2024 was an essential bounce-back season for the Bulls in their first season with head coach Pete Lembo.

Quinton Cooley rushed for 1,254 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 6.1 yards per carry. Senior Treon Sibley led the team with 499 receiving yards.
