Jacksonville State hosts FIU in a battle between two unbeaten Conference USA teams at AmFirst Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:00 PM ET on ESPNU, with Jacksonville State favored by 3 points and the total sitting at only 43.5.
FIU enters at 3-2 and 1-0 after consecutive defensive-dominated victories, while Jacksonville State is 4-2 and 2-0 after escaping Kennesaw State 27-26. The Gamecocks are also a perfect 3-0 at home this season.

FIU opened conference play with a 22-3 victory over New Mexico State last Wednesday. The Panthers held the Aggies without a touchdown and have now allowed only six combined points across their last two games.

Jacksonville State extended its winning streak to three games with a 27-26 victory at Kennesaw State. The Gamecocks survived a tight finish and remained unbeaten in Conference USA.
Caden Creel continues to drive the offense. He enters Tuesday with 1,423 passing yards and 405 rushing yards, leading Jacksonville State in both categories and forcing defenses to account for him on virtually every snap.
That victory followed a 23-13 win over Middle Tennessee and a 31-27 victory against Georgia Southern. Jacksonville State has therefore won three consecutive one-possession or competitive games after beginning the season 1-2 against North Dakota State, Eastern Kentucky and Ohio.
The home profile has been particularly strong. Jacksonville State is 3-0 at AmFirst Stadium with victories over Eastern Kentucky, Georgia Southern and Middle Tennessee.

Jacksonville State has remained close to a 3-point favorite throughout the buildup, with the spread showing very little meaningful movement. The larger adjustment has come on the total, which opened around 45.5 before dropping to 43.5.
