2022 NFL Draft Predictions: Will the Jacksonville Jaguars Select Travon Walker Number One Overall?

Having multiple bets on the NFL Draft is the only way for me to go. What can I say? I'm a connoisseur of the finer things in life. Everyone knows that you have to have a pick on the number one overall pick of every draft. Most years it's tough because the first pick has been known forever. In years like that, you want to find the second overall pick and treat that like it's the first overall pick. But this year we don't have to do that. Nobody seems to know who is picking who so we're all set for a nice descent into the NFL Draft. We're likely to see twists and turns along the way which makes it fun. Those twists and turns also mean you want to get this bet in now. The number is sure to change.

2022 NFL Draft Bet

Travon Walker 2022 Number One Draft Pick (+190) (Bet $100 to Win $190)

This one is slipping big time at every book. FanDuel has +165. BetMGM has +140. It's crazy. The best number I've seen is at DraftKings so we'll go there. I've always found betting the best number is a smart thing to do. It's just how betting works. Crazy right?

The haters are going to be mad that I'm not saying Aiden Hutchinson here but I think Walker is going first. People, betting the draft isn't about who's better. It never has been. It's about being able to dive into the brains of NFL GMs and coming out with gold. That's it. It's not easy but if you do it right you'll get rewarded.

The dive into the brain of Jacksonville Jaguars GM, Trent Balke, was a good one. It's messy in there and there's certainly a lot going on but I saw something. I saw a lot really but the thing that stuck out to me is Balke is the epitome of an over guy. He doesn't want the floor, this guy wants the ceiling.

This isn't Balke's first rodeo. Not by a long shot. He did dirt for the San Francisco 49ers back in the day. We're talking about a guy who took Aldon Smith over JJ Watt and Cam Jordan. He wants a logo three. Not a layup. People are bringing up Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner as other guys he drafted but no one signals this year's pick like Smith.

If all works out, Travon Walker is a legit freak with a ridiculously high ceiling. The price here is right too since we can get more news this week that he's going number one. We may even be able to take Hutchinson to go number one at plus money for you arb people. Taking this at +190 right now gives us flexibility going into what could be a wild week of news. It wasn't long ago this was +350 so I'd act now if I were you.
