2022 NFL Prediction: Are the Steelers a Good Bet to Make the Playoffs?

We are less than one hundred days from the NFL season. I can not wait till we can sit back and lead and watch football for an entire day soon, but the best thing we can do until then is to bet on football. That is what future bets are for, and I found a long-shot bet I love for us.

This article will be centered around the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers were knocked out in round one last season as they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. It was a shock to many that the Steelers were even able to get into the playoffs as they had a limited offense and a defense that was inconsistent. Ben Roethlisberger turned in his last year of NFL service and at times, it was tough to watch.

The QB room opens up now for Pittsburgh as it looks like will be a completion between Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Pickett. Pickett is a rookie who played college football at Pittsburgh University. He was a Heisman finalist and enters this league with a lot of hype around his name. Trisbursky, who was a former first-round pick himself, will look for a second chance as a starter. He took a couple of Bears teams to the playoffs, but the team decided to move on. Trubisky went to Buffalo to backup one of the best quarterbacks in the game in Josh Allen.

The reason for most of the Steeler's success is head coach Mike Tomlin. Tomlin is one of the best in the business, and it appears all he does is wins. 

We are going to take the Pittsburgh Steelers to make the playoffs. We get this line at +350 on DraftKings, and I do not think we can pass this up. There is too much to like about this team from my point of view. This team just made the playoffs with a quarterback who had nothing left in the tank. Whether it’s Pickett or Trubisky, this team will be better offensively. They also have one of the best running backs in the game in Naje Harris, who they can lean on. They have enough guys on defense who can make things happen. I simply think the value we get here is too good not to take a shot on the Steelers.
