We are officially less than ten days away from the NFL regular season. This is the moment that we all have been waiting for and to say I’m excited is an understatement. We are almost through the dog days of summer betting on the MLB and it will soon be time to sit down and do absolutely nothing but gamble on the NFL.
The best thing that we can do until the season officially starts is to bet on futures. Lucky for us, I found one that I absolutely love. This prop will be centered around Derick Henry.

Henry has been one of the best running backs in football over the last couple of seasons and is expected to have another great year. He has earned the nickname the King, and for a good reason. Henry had to deal with an injury that cut his season short, but the two years prior, he rushed for 2,027 and 1.540 yards. He will be the centerpiece of the Titans' offense this season, looking for another massive year.
The prop we are going to be taking here will be Henry to rush for under 1,350.5 yards.
I know this is a bit scary when you look at it because he may be the best running back in football, but there are a couple of variables here that make this number inflated in my eyes. The first is the injury factor. Henry was injured last season, and a big reason in my mind was his workload.
I think that the Titans will cut back on the usage of Henry early in the year to try and keep him fresh for the late stages of the season. This is a ton of yards, and even if he is healthy all year, he would have to average about eighty yards per game. I also believe Tennesse will play more games from behind this season, forcing them to pass the ball more than they have in the past couple of seasons. I love this prop. Let’s cash in!
