Dallas Cowboys vs Tampa Buccaneers Pick

1u - Dak Prescott o35.5 Pass Attempts (-115) (Bet $115 to win $100)

*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*

This might be the easiest bet of the week. Does anybody look at this game and think each quarterback isn’t throwing a thousand times? Last year these two opened the season against each other and Dak threw the ball 58 times. Brady threw a ton too which is beneficial for us. Brady threw the ball 50 times himself. This game may not be as insane as last year's but the 51-point total is a good sign that we see a high-scoring game that should likely feature plenty of passing.

Dallas Cowboys vs Tampa Buccaneers Prediction

So we need 36 pass attempts here, just nine a quarter. Dak hit this in eight of his last nine games last year with the only miss coming against the Eagles because Dallas won by 25 and didn’t need to pass late. In a game like this against Tampa Bay, we should see Dak and company pass in all four quarters, and if they’re playing from behind pass on all three downs. Tampa allowed the third-fewest rush yards last year and coordinators know running on them won’t be effective.

Dak is seriously in play to throw 40+ times so you would think this should be more than a one-unit play. For week one I want to tread lightly and see if any gameplan adjustments happen throughout the league that makes me look at offense differently. It's tempting to bet on the whole board but we must remain strong and bet with our brains and not our hearts. If you don’t have this prop then I would just take Dak over for passing yards. I would take that all the way to the 270’s but I much prefer our main prop if you can get it.
