Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins Sneak By at Home?
The Miami Dolphins will open up the season against the New England Patriots on Sunday. Life without Tom Brady has been up and down for the Patriots. They drafted Mac Jones, who did well as quarterback last season. But the Patriots mainly relied on the run game and didn't force Jones to throw the ball downfield. Could that change going into this season? Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins.

Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots Prediction
The Miami Dolphins are looking to get a spark from their offense this season. The offense will rely on Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback. They'll have Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill as the key receivers. And they'll put together a solid running back group led by Chase Edmonds. There's a lot to like about this offense. Last year, the pass protection didn't give Tagovailoa enough time in the pocket to make plays. If the protection is better this year, the Dolphins will be in business with some speedy receivers going down the field for catches. Ultimately, the run game struggled for the Dolphins as well last year. But they've got a whole new group back there. Things should be better as long as the offensive line steps up. The Patriots, on the other hand, did well in coverage last year. The pass rush also was effective. The Patriots also didn't miss many tackles and were pretty disciplined on the defensive end. However, the one area where the Patriots struggled a bit was stopping the run. The Dolphins want to get the run game going early, opening up the entire offense. On the other hand, the Patriots were dominant in running the football last year. That likely won't change going into this season. Damien Harris found the end zone a lot last year, which might not even change this season. The Dolphins missed a bunch of tackles last season and, like the Patriots, struggled in the run game defensively. Realistically, both teams played the same way last year. Miami should play differently under new head coach Mike McDaniel, but overall, you can expect both offenses to run the ball well and both defenses to play well in coverage. With that said, I'll grab the under.
