Steelers vs. Patriots Prediction, Player Props, Odds: Ride Pat Freiermuth, Damien Harris, and More
Two (former) AFC juggernauts will square off in a week two matchup that should say a lot about the state of both franchises. For both teams, the era of their respective Hall of Fame quarterbacks seem in the distance rear view, and both have more questions than answers as this season begins to pick up over the next couple of weeks.
While this game should be as close as the odds suggest (Patriots -1), let’s take a look at the three player props I like for the Steelers vs Patriots game.

New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Best Player Prop Picks
*All Odds via DraftKings At Time of Publishing*
Pat Freiermuth - Over 37.5 Receiving Yards (-115) (Bet $115 to win $100)
Slowly and quietly turning into one of the best tight ends in the AFC, Freiermuth has great hands for a big man. He’s also already developing chemistry with QB1 Mitch Trubisky, as he comes into the week leading the Steelers with 75 yards through the air.
The Patriots are also dealing with injuries to their two safeties in Joshuah Bledsoe (groin) and Adrian Phillips (ribs), and I expect “Muuuuuth” to be yellowed quite a bit at Acrisure Field this weekend Add in that linebacker Ja’Whauan Bently (toe) isn’t practicing this week either, and I like for Friermuth to get his yards in once again this week; potentially even finding the end zone.

Damien Harris - Over 54.5 Rushing Yards (-115) (Bet $115 to win $100)
With All-Pro edge rusher TJ Watt out of this game for Pittsburgh, Mac Jones is getting quite the blessing. As is the rushing attack. Always good at the run, the Patriots have a solid backfield this season led by Damien Harris who picked up 48 yards in their game one loss.
The Steelers will also be with a potentially limited linebacker in Rob Spillane, who missed practice this week with an eye injury. With a much improved secondary and Jones dealing with an injury, look for the rushing attack of the Patriots to be a big part of the game plan, and for Harris to get the lion's share of snaps once again.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer - George Pickens (+370) (Bet $100 to win $370)
Despite just one catch for three yards in his NFL debut, make no mistake, Pickens is going to start getting looks. The freak of nature athlete out of Georgia has already drawn comparisons to Randy Moss, I expect to turn into one of the best one on one wide receivers in the league.
Going back and watching the game last week, Pickens was one errant throw from Trubisky away from having a wide-open field in the second quarter of their week one win. While the game plan was to grind the ball in game one, look for offensive coordinator Matt Canada to air it out at home on Sunday in Pittsburgh.
