The Denver Broncos were upset by the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night. Now they'll have a quick turnaround against a possibly underrated Houston Texans team that tied with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Texans were pretty poor against the run last week against the Colts. The offensive line manhandled the Texans' front seven and helped Jonathan Taylor earn over 160 yards rushing.
Ultimately, Houston played better on passing downs, putting together a solid pass rush while playing well in coverage.

On the other hand, the Broncos were the same way. They played better against the run but didn't get a ton of stops behind the backfield against Seattle. The pass rush was really good against Geno Smith and the Seahawks, yet, Smith still hung in the pocket and made accurate throws.
Either way, Denver should be much better rushing the passer and will likely make more plays on the defensive end. Offensively, the Broncos still have the edge with Russell Wilson under center. It might take a couple of weeks for the team to get comfortable and make the right calls from a coaching standpoint, but overall, the Broncos are still the better team coming into the game on Sunday.
Here are some player props for Sunday's matchup between the Denver Broncos vs. Houston Texans.

Denver Broncos vs. Houston Texans Prop Predictions
Javonte Williams Over 57.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
Melvin Gordon Over 53.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
I don't think it matters if you bet on Javonte Williams or Melvin Gordon. I like both of these running backs to get over their rushing totals.
I know the Texans played overtime in their first game of the season. But the Colts still ran for 177 yards, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
The Broncos gave Melvin Gordon III 12 carries while only giving Javonte Williams seven carries. However, both running backs rushed for more than 4.7 yards per carry. Williams averaged over six yards while Gordon averaged 4.8 yards while getting nearly double the carries.
I like Denver to ultimately win this game by a considerable margin. In the second half, that'll mean both running backs will run the football and gain plenty of yardage down the field.
This duo can easily surpass 150 yards on the ground combined.
Davis Mills Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-205)
Davis Mills Over .5 Interceptions (-120)
I'm going to be a Davis Mills hater in this game. Mills carried the Texans to a 20-20 tie over the Colts last week.
He's getting a lot of love for it despite throwing 23-of-37 from the field. He averaged 6.5 yards per completion and was sacked three times while holding a QBR of 46.3.
The Broncos have one of the more elite pass rushes. We saw it in Week 1 against the Seahawks. Meanwhile, the Texans don't have a great pass protection unit. The Broncos will be pressuring Mills throughout the game, leading to incompletions, deflected throws, and an interception or two.
Let's not all get caught up in the hype here. Mills had 16 touchdowns to 10 interceptions last year. He was also sacked 31 times. He still doesn't have an elite receiver and will try and force things when they're trailing. It won't end well for Mills. Mills won't have a fun time against this Denver pass rush.
