CINCINNATI BENGALS VS. DALLAS COWBOYS Pick

1u - Joe Mixon o17.5 rush attempts (-119) (Bet $119 to win $100)

*Odds available at Caesars at time of publishing*

This is a high number but Joe Mixon is a horse. In week 1 we saw this man run the ball TWENTY-SEVEN times. We need 18, that’s it. Some of you may look at this being an overtime game and discredit it but in overtime, he only ran the ball three times. So in regulation, he still ran the ball 24 times, well over what we need. He plays a Dallas team who just lost Dak, Bengals should dominate the time of possession and it will result in plenty of handoffs.

CINCINNATI BENGALS VS. DALLAS COWBOYS PREDICTION

Dallas allowed Fournette to run the ball 21 times and without Dak for an entire game, I see a positive running game script for Cincinnati. The only concern here is that the Cowboys could run the ball more now which would keep the clock running but this number is still so low and there should come a point in the game where things will slow down and Dallas has no choice but to pass.

Mixon ended 2021 hitting this in 5/7 games with one of the misses being a hook at 17 and the other game where Cincinnati needed to pass to keep up with Mahomes and Kansas City. In a game against Cooper Rush, I think 20+ carries is incredibly in play and we get value only need 18. I expect this number to move or this prop to get juiced. Let's hope Burrow can take control of his turnovers and keep the ball in Mixon's hands. Let's roll!
