Philadelphia Eagles vs. Minnesota Vikings Prediction, Picks, Odds: Which Team Will Move to 2-0?
The Minnesota Vikings vs. the Philadelphia Eagles will battle it out from the city of brotherly love under the lights for Monday night football. I am fired up for this one as these are two teams slated to be postseason teams, and both will be looking for a division title.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Minnesota Vikings Prediction
Minnesota looked extremely impressive in their week one victory over the Green Bay Packers. The most impressive thing from that game, in my eyes, was not Justin Jefferson because we know how great he is but how well this Minnesota defense played. The Vikings have had talented teams over the last few years, but they have struggled to piece it all together. The Vikings made a change in the off-season by firing long-time head coach Mike Zimmer and bringing in former Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell. O'Connell is a guy that a lot of people credit for the success of Cooper Kupp. He now gets a wideout just as talented as Kupp in the form of Justin Jefferson. It will be fun to see what they do together this year.
The Eagles are fresh off a three-point win over the Lions. The offense was clicking for the Eagles, but the question mark from that game was the defense. The Lions are likely not going to be a playoff team, so it was a bit concerning to see them score so many points, granted some of them were late in the game when the Eagles dropped into more of a prevent defense. The Eagles currently are heavy favorites to come out of the NFC East, and they hold the second-best odds to win the NFC.
This was a team that got much better in the offseason by addressing some key positions. The linebacker position had been weak in Philly for some years, but they were able to go out and plug in guys who can hold down the position. They also improved their secondary when they signed James Bradberry and traded for CJ Gardner-Johnson. On the offensive side of the ball, they added star wideout AJ Brown who was unguardable in week 1. The potential is all there for Philly. It will just be a question of if they can put it all together.Â
I am backing the Eagles on the moneyline here. It is Monday Night Football, and the crowd will be electric. This is a tough spot for Minnesota to come in and win this game. I am very high on the Vikings as I took them to win the North, but situation-wise, this is a great spot to back Philly. I trust their offense will be clicking against, and I believe they will turn in a much better defensive performance and make the proper adjustments after week one. The line here is telling me Philly, and I will trust that. Let’s cash in!Â
