Rams vs. Falcons Anytime Touchdowns Picks: Cashing in With Tyler Higbee

A pair of 0-1 teams in the NFC will meet on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, as the Falcons and Rams come into the season with drastically different expectations. Coming off their first Super Bowl win since moving to Los Angeles, the Rams' ceiling is a return to that game, which got off to a rocky start on wee one. With 10+ days to rest and prepare, however, the Rams are now welcome in a Falcons team in the middle of a rebuild.

While the number feels about right at Rams -11, there are three anytime touchdown player prop picks I’m keyed in on. As a reminder, these bets cash simply when a player walks into the end zone. Let’s take a closer look at what I like in this matchup.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Atlanta Falcons Best Anytime Touchdown Prop Picks

Anytime Touchdown Scorer - Tyler Higbee (+175) (Bet $100 to win $175)

Following a historic 2021-22 season, Rams WR Cooper Kupp was back in his bag last week with a career-high 13 catches for 128 yards and the Rams’ only touchdown. The lone bright spot in an otherwise tough night for the team was overshadowed by the fact Tyler Higbee had 11 targets and was a key part of the new Rams game plan.

For the Falcons, last week against the Saints, the New Orleans’ second-best pass catcher had himself a day as Michael Thomas picked up two touchdowns on the afternoon. In this matchup for the Rams, I expect them to have many possessions in the Falcons’ red zone, and for Higbee to once again be a prime target for Matthew Stafford.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer - Drake London (+285) (Bet $100 to win $285)

I think this might be one of the most mispriced props on the board as Atlanta rookie Drake London led the way last week with a team-high five catches and 74 yards; nearly double that of the next closest WR. In that game vs. the Saints, however, the Falcons focused on pounding the ball on the ground, with no receivers catching a touchdown pass.

Now facing a Rams team that will likely want to turn this game into a shootout, I expect the Falcons to air it out more and for London to find plenty of chances in the end zone. It’s also worth noting that the Rams' secondary showed plenty of cracks last week, allowing Allen to throw for just shy of 300 yards with three touchdowns on the day

Anytime Touchdown Scorer - Darrell Henderson Jr. (+115) (Bet $100 to win $115)

As we saw toward the end of last season, Darrell Henderson Jr. has turned into a three-down threat for the Rams. Last week, in addition to his production on the ground, Henderson Jr. had five catches on five targets for 26 yards.

In this game, I like for the Rams to feature him even more in the flat, and for him to find pay dirt by the time it's all said and done.
