Squarest bet on the slate but we ride! Can JT Do It Again?

100 rushing yards for most players would be a career game, for Taylor, it would just be another day at the office. JT ran the ball 31 times in week 1 and accumulated 161 yards. Taylor has 100+ rush yards in 12 of his last 15 games dating back to last year. Funny enough, one of the three misses was against Jacksonville. But when you dive deep into that game, it’s hard to imagine things going that way again. Jacksonville never lost the lead and Indianapolis had to play from behind the whole game. This loss was in week 17 and Colts players were devastated at their playoff hopes going away.
This game on Sunday projects to be a close game but one the Colts squeak out. In the last 10 Colts games in which they’ve won, we have seen Taylor run for 100+ yards. I think the Colts are the better team and they have motivation from a tie last week against Houston and a bad taste in their mouth from week 17 last year against this same Jacksonville team. Taylor may run the ball 25+ times and he would just need four yards a carry. This will surely shoot up to 105+ by kickoff.
Jacksonville allowed four yards a carry to Gibson last week and Taylor is surely the more efficient and intimidating runner. Taylor will see plenty of volume and I just can’t imagine Jacksonville replicating what they did last year. In the first meeting last year we saw JT run for 116 on just 21 handoffs. You may think Taylor's week 1 stats were inflated due to overtime but in OT he only ran the ball four times for three yards. In regulation, he ran the ball 27 times for 158 yards. We need him to just run for 100 on Sunday, something he has done in 12/15 and in his last 10 Colts victories.
