Baltimore Ravens vs Miami Dolphins Prediction

The Dolphins beat up on the New England Patriots last week, led by a solid defensive effort. Their offense got rolling a bit but did not look like they were fully clicking. The Dolphins added Tyreek Hill in the off-season and paired him with young wideout Jaylen Waddle. This is one of the best combinations at the wide receiver spot in football, and the Ravens will undoubtedly have their hands full today. Hopes are high in Miami that this could be a playoff team. It will all come down to the play of young gun slinger Tua Tagovailoa.

Baltimore is optimistic about their team as well. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens could not reach a contract agreement in the off-season, and it appears he will be betting on himself this year in hopes of a massive contract. Jackson is a former MVP winner, and he is one of the best dual QBs that the game has seen in years. Baltimore will need their skill position players to step up and help Jackson this year. They also feel much better about their defense this season as they had to deal with a lot of injuries as a team last year. The Ravens enter this game as a short 3.5-point favorite.

I am all over the Ravens here at home, and I am shocked this is the line. This is the second consecutive week that the Ravens are getting disrespected by the books. Last week the line made no sense to me when they were -6.5 against the Jets, and now at home, I do not get why they are such a short favorite. I love this Ravens team and expect a massive season out of Jackson in particular. On the defensive side of the ball, I trust that they will be much better this year, assuming that they can stay healthy. They come into this game healthy, and they should be able to limit Tua and this Dolphins offense today. Let’s cash in and stay hot!
