The Seahawks come into this game fresh off an upset win over the Broncos on Monday night. They are feeling good coming into this game, and they will look to pull off yet another upset on the road tonight. The 49ers will be looking for their first win of the young season after being beat in Chicago last week.
It was an ugly game for the 49ers, and they are happy to be back at home today and try and get back on track. The 49ers decided to make Trey Lance their guy in the off-season after a pretty successful campaign a season ago with Jimmy G as their signal caller. The decision did not come as a surprise as the 49ers did draft Lance in the first round, making it obvious that they wanted to build around him. This should be a chance today for Lance to bounce back and lead his team to a much-needed home win.
Seattle went through a lot of change in the off-season as they made a move to trade Russell Wilson and go into a rebuild mode. They handed the keys to Geno Smith to start the year, and he was very good in the Monday night game against Denver. The 49ers enter this one as an eight-point favorite.Â
I am buying a point here and backing the 49ers. I am not super high on this team but high on this spot. This is a short week for Seattle, and they are coming off of an emotional win on Monday night. Now the Seahawks have to turn around and play a road game against an angry team. The 49ers will have revenge on their minds after a poor showing last Sunday.Â
