The Denver Broncos rebounded last week with a win over the Houston Texans, 16-9. The offense hasn't sparked yet with Russell Wilson under center.

But they're hoping the offense starts shining on Sunday Night with a game against the San Francisco 49ers on the horizon.

The 49ers are also 1-1 after earning a win last week. San Francisco defeated the Seattle Seahawks, the team that the Broncos lost in Week 1.

The 49ers lost Trey Lance to injury and will start Jimmy Garoppolo for the rest of the season. He took the 49ers into the playoffs a couple of straight years, but the Niners wanted to role with their young quarterback in Lance. Fortunately for Garoppolo, he'll get to showcase his talents once more.

The 49ers have done well protecting the quarterback in protection. But the playmakers haven't stepped up. Elijah Mitchell will be out for at least another month, but the 49ers should likely get Deebo Samuel more involved now.

On defense, San Francisco has been above-average. They've held teams to 226.5 yards per game, including just 67.5 yards on the ground. The 49ers had to play in poor weather in the first game of the season, so the stats are a bit skewed. Still, San Francisco has an outstanding defense.

Conversely, the Broncos aren't getting excellent quarterback play from Russell Wilson. He's thrown for 559 yards but has just two touchdowns and an interception through those two games.

Javonte Williams has been the lead running back for the Broncos. He's beating out Melvin Gordon in terms of snap percentage and is a genuine threat in the passing game. Courtland Sutton is also finally stepping up as the team's top wide receiver, with 11 receptions for 194 yards.

We're not expecting many points in this Sunday Night Football matchup. Here are some player props for Sunday Night Football between the Denver Broncos vs. San Francisco 49ers.

Denver Broncos vs. San Francisco 49ers Prop Predictions

Deebo Samuel Over 32.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Jeff Wilson Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

The Broncos have only allowed 78 yards per game on the ground through two games. But the rushing defense and missed tackles will eventually bite them.

The 49ers, especially Jimmy Garoppolo, will return to what they did last year. They'll get Deebo Samuel involved in the run game more and allow Jeff Wilson to break out for some big plays down the field.

Denver's been much better in coverage. They've done well against passing plays. But against the run, they're going to break apart. That's where the 49ers' strength comes in.

Even if Samuel and Wilson don't average 100 yards rushing combined, they can still win their bets. But I've got the 49ers having a field day on the ground with both players going over on their rushing props.

Javonte Williams Over 50.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Williams only has 22 carries for 118 yards on the season. But he saw double his rushing attempts in comparison to Week 1.

In Week 1, Williams rushed seven times for 43 yards. In Week 2, Williams rushed 15 times for 75 yards. He's averaging 5.4 yards per carry through two games and is seeing his snap count and workload increase.

Williams is taking over a lot of Melvin Gordon's snaps now. 50.5 rushing yards for a player like Williams is too good to pass up.
