The Ravens are led by Lamar Jackson, who is literally betting on himself this year. Jackson has held out on a contract and is looking to get paid in the off-season. He has been lights out thru two games and playing at an MVP level. The Patriots enter this game with a 1-1 record. They lost week one against the Dolphins, but they were able to bounce back with an important win over Pittsburgh last weekend. New England is a team that will rely heavily on their defense and run game. Mac Jones is the man for the Pats, and he will be a huge reason if they are successful this season. Jones has been up and down to kick off the season. The Ravens have higher expectations between the two teams as they are the favorites to come out of the AFC North. New England is the third-best team in their division on paper, but they will look to surprise the league and make some noise this year.
I know that is down lash week, but I am back on Baltimore today on the money line. The Ravens will get the sour taste out of their mouth and win this game today. Baltimore has too much firepower on offense for New England to keep up with, in my eyes. If New England falls into a negative game script early, I think we can cruise to a win here, as this is not a team that is built to play from behind.
