Green Bay Packers vs. New York Jets Prediction

These are two teams feeling total opposite ways heading into the game. The Jets are flying high at the moment, following back-to-back wins and having the Jets faithful believing that this could be a surprise playoff team. The Packers, on the other side of things, will come into this game feeling they need a win after being shocked by the Giants in London.

Green Bay had a lot of change in the off-season, but most notably, it was the wide receiver position that left a lot of question marks. The Packers shocked the league when they traded star Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders. Green Bay has had a history in the Rodgers era of not drafting great wideouts high, and this move likely did not make Rodgers happy. This left a lot of inexperienced wide receivers on the roster outside of veteran Randal Cobb. The inexperience has certainly shown us so far, and it has been quite obvious that Aaron Rodgers is not happy about it. It will be interesting to see how Rodgers responds to this on Sunday.

The Jets, on the other side of things, have to feel good about where they are right now. Zach Wilson missed the first three games, and the Jets went 1-2, but since his return, they are a modest 2-0. It has been a long time since Jets football was competitive, so the mood is good right now in Jets nation. A win on Sunday could take the mood to a different level.

I do not see the Jets coming away with a win, nor do I see them coming away with a cover. This feels to me like the perfect spot to back Aaron Rodgers and the Packers after that bad loss in London. This also feels like a good crash spot for the Jeys. I have ridden the Jets the last two weeks, and I am a big fan of Zach Wilson, but this is all about the spot. The Packers should get back to work at home and dominate this game on Sunday. I expect their defense to get back to who they are, and for Aaron Rodgers to take over this game. I am all in on the Pack on Sunday!
