Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills Prediction

The last time that these teams met was in the playoffs, and they delivered one of the best games the NFL has ever seen. It appeared like the Bills would advance and take on the Bengals in the AFC championship game, but the Chiefs were able to get in a field goal with under fifteen seconds left. The game would go to overtime, and Kansas City would take care of business in OT.

You can be assured that the Bills will have revenge on their minds for this game. This is the game that the Bills have been circling all season and will be fired up for. The Bills and the Chiefs both appear to be the top teams in the AFC yet again, and this game could be pivotal for who finishes at the top of the conference. Some people questioned if the Kansas City offense would be as dominant this year after they traded star wideout Tyreek Hill.

The Chiefs quickly proved that they did not skip a beat and have been one of the most electric offenses in the league yet again this season. The surprise with KC is how good their defense has been. If they continue to play well on the defensive side of the ball, they are nearly unbeatable. The Bills come into this game as a short-road favorite. This is the first time that Patrick Mahomes has been a home underdog. Mahomes is undefeated for ATS in his career as a dog. 

I will be backing the Bills here on the money line. Technically, Mahomes could keep up his ATS dog record, but I do believe the Chiefs will get past the Bills here. This game means a lot to Buffalo, and I expect them to come out fired up for this game. I think what it comes down to is who can get more stops. Both of these offenses are obviously dominant and can score tons of points, so who can get a few more stops or turnovers?

I think the Bills have the better defense and can turnover Mahomes. I know that KC has been good on the defensive side of the ball, but I expect their numbers to regress in the next few weeks. They have not seen an offense like Buffalo and will not be able to slow them down.
