The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will clash from the Bay Area on Sunday afternoon for one of the most anticipated games of the NFL Season. This is a team that is built on defense and running the football. They will have to do both things well today if they want to pull off the win over KC. The Chiefs once again appear to be one of the best teams in football. Kansas City comes into play tied with the Chargers for first place in the AFC West with a 4-2 record. They are coming off a tough loss against the Bills last Sunday.
I am backing Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs today. I understand that people are high on the move San Francisco just made, but I trust that Mahomes and company will bounce back coming off a tough loss against Buffalo. I have faded Mahomes the last two weeks with success, but I think I would be a fool to fade him three games in a row. This is a guy that rarely loses, and it is even rarer that he loses back-to-back games. I will trust him to lead the way for us today. Lastly, I think that KC will sell out against the run and force San Francisco to beat them through the air. I also believe that the number of points KC can put up it will cause the 9ers to go into a game script where they have to throw the football.
