The Chicago Bears are set to invade New England to take on the Patriots in front of the world on ESPN at 8:15 pm ET tonight. We should bet on it. We just should. A lot of people are going to say this game is going to suck. I get it. If you've seen the Bears play this season, you know they aren't a good football team. On top of that, the Patriots are what they've been in the past, either. Still, the one way to turn a bad game into a good one is the bet on it. That's as true today as it ever was. All we have to do is find a plus money banger and get down. That's it. Now we have what feels like the Super Bowl. It's literally magic.

New England Patriots vs. Chicago Bears Prediction

Jakobi Meyers 60+ Receiving Yards (+130) (Bet $100 to collect $230)

*Odds Available at FanDuel*

We're at FanDuel here since they have the best ladder moves but have no fear, the other books are catching on. For instance, DraftKings is dabbling in the ladder game, but theirs is slightly different. They won't let you go 60+ on Myers, which is what I like. You have to go from 50+ (-140) all the way up to 75+ (+225). Obviously, I don't mind the +225, but we're asking a lot of this guy for that. He's just one man.

The Patriots' receiver room is pretty crowded, and we don't even know if Nelson Agholor is going to play tonight. I'm not saying Agholor is going to demand all these targets, but it's just better to only have a few guys available. Agholor did log limited practices this week, so it's possible he plays. Still, even if he does, Meyers is the alpha of this group, and I think he gets his no matter what. That's just how alphas roll.

So far this season, Meyers is leading the Patriots in targets with 31. He's turned those targets into 321 yards, so he knows what he's doing. Keep in mind the guy has only played in four games. His lowest yardage output for any of those games is 55. My hot take is the only way he doesn't get to 60+ tonight is if the Patriots start killing the Bears and take the air out of the ball. It's nice to know New England did have one such game already this season against the Detroit Lions, and Meyers still went for 111 yards. Guy is pretty clean.

Only one team in the NFL has given up fewer receiving yards to the wide receiver position this season than the Bears, but that stat is fake. Any stat that doesn't line up with your hypothesis is fake. Everyone knows that. When you look at the quarterbacks they've played, it all makes sense. Trey Lance (monsoon), Davis Mills, Daniel Jones, and Carson Wentz aren't exactly Murderer's Row. Still, we've seen Chris Moore, Justin Jefferson, and Sammy Watkins go over this number. I think Jakobi Meyers joins that club tonight.
