The Baltimore Ravens are averaging 25.9 points per game while allowing 23 points per game. The offense has earned 355 yards per game, while the defense has given up 385.1 yards. However, the Ravens still have more points for than points against. The Ravens are getting quality play out of Lamar Jackson at quarterback. He's thrown six interceptions but still has 13 touchdowns with close to 1400 yards passing. He's also rushed for 510 yards and has two more touchdowns on the ground.

The Ravens are now using Gus Edwards as the featured running back with JK Dobbins injured. Edwards had been injured to begin the season but recovered at the perfect time. On defense, the Ravens have struggled with tackling and aren't doing fantastic against the run. However, the pass rush is the most effective portion of the defense, while the coverage is starting to improve a bit.

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers have averaged 17.7 points per game while allowing 17.7 points per game. The offense has only gained 341.9 yards per game, but the defense has limited teams to 328.7 yards per game.

Through seven games, Tom Brady only has eight touchdown passes. He's still limited interceptions to just one, but overall, the offense is just not moving in the right direction. There have been some dropped passes and plenty of injuries on this offense, but Brady usually never had a problem finding success, no matter who was on the field. Until this year.

Defensively, the Buccaneers have allowed over 118 yards per game on the ground. They've been terrific in the secondary and have a reliable pass rush. Stopping the run has been difficult. With the Ravens earning 156.3 yards per game on the ground, it looks like the Bucs are going to run into more trouble in this game.

The Ravens have the better offense, but the Buccaneers are more consistent defensively. I just think that Baltimore's offense is going to be much more consistent moving forward. I'll take the Ravens -1.5 in this matchup.
