Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction

The Philadelphia Eagles are currently 6-0 on the season. They're the only undefeated team in the NFL and have one of the easier schedules in the league.

Still, a win is a win. The Eagles lead the NFC East and NFC and likely aren't stopping anytime soon.

Philadelphia has scored 26.8 points per game while allowing 17.5 points per game. The Eagles have gained over 400 yards on offense while allowing just 318.5 yards on defense per game.

Jalen Hurts has led the offense at quarterback with 1,514 yards and six touchdowns in the air. He's only got a QBR of 59.1, but he's been an incredible runner for the Eagles, earning another six touchdowns on 77 carries.

Philadelphia's offensive line has been tremendous for Hurts in the run and passing games.

Defensively, the Eagles have struggled in the tackling department. Still, the pass rush has dominated, and the coverage has been solid throughout the season. If anything, the Eagles have struggled against the run, allowing 109.8 yards per game. But the defensive performance could remain consistent.

Meanwhile, the Steelers score just 15.3 points per game while allowing 23.1 points per game. They've also allowed nearly 100 more yards per game on defense this year.

The Steelers have struggled more in the run game, earning 87.9 yards per game. But the offense was still bad under Mitch Trubisky that the Steelers made the change at quarterback, giving Kenny Pickett the keys to the offense as a rookie.

The Steelers scored 20 or fewer points in their last five games. Trubisky subbed in for Pickett in their lone win when Pickett was hurt against the Buccaneers.

On the defensive side of things, the Steelers have been average. We'd be talking about the Steelers playing well defensively if the offense stepped up just a little bit. But the offense has been so bad, making the Steelers look worse defensively than they are.

Besides their road loss to Buffalo, the Steelers have played in many one-score games. They lost to Miami, 16-10. They beat Tampa Bay, 20-18. Finally, the Steelers ended up losing 24-20 to the Jets.

The Eagles are an elite team, but the Steelers' defense has enough talent to at least get some stops in this game.

I'll take the Steelers at +10.5. That's too many points.
