This number is intimidating at first glance but the more you look into it the better it is. Kamara is only 3/5 on this line which is nice but nothing great. It’s important to know the context behind the stats. Kamara missed this 5+ receptions prop in his first two games of the year but that was with Jameis at QB. Since Andy Dalton took over we have seen Kamara hit this in three straight with games of seven, six, and six.
New Orleans Saints vs. Las Vegas Raiders Prediction
Kamara is averaging 6.3 catches per game with Dalton and that should remain the case as New Orleans is still dealing with injuries as Landry and MT are out. Kamara and Olave will be the only two consistent targets on offense and I expect both to be overwhelmed with passing work. Kamara feels safer though as Vegas allows catches to running backs on the regular. Last week we saw Burkhead, Pierce, and Ogunbowale combine for 14 catches out of the backfield. We need just 35% of that for Kamara.
This game script projects to be close so I don’t expect the Saints to go up by so much that they run every down. I think the Raiders will put up points and keep the Saints passing the ball throughout the game. Dalton should continue utilizing the best weapon on offense and this number isn’t as scary as it looks. Kamara has 6+ in three straight and all we need is five, let's roll!
