We're at FanDuel for this one, but DraftKings is lurking in the shadows with something similar. They have 100+ (+180), which isn't bad but is +180 all we want here? I don't think so. We need to kick it up a notch, and everyone knows it. I know it, the books know it, and your entire family knows it. When we turn these games on, we want every ticket to be at least +250. We have that with 110+ on Pollard.
People get mad at me when I say that Tony Pollard is better than Ezekiel Elliott. They do. I don't blame them, either. They're just defending their boy. And he's pretty good. They don't realize that I'm not being mean to Zeke. I'm actually being really nice to Pollard. He's the story here. He's the one with the 30+% juke rate. Not Zeke, that's for damn sure. The kid is filthy, and he's about to get a golden opportunity with Zeke sidelined today.
Now I get that Pollard has not gone over this number all season. It's not his fault, though. Zeke gets a ton of carries. Plus, they throw it to Pollard a lot, so he also does damage there. Still, we did see Pollard go for 105 rushing yards against the New York Giants already this season on just 13 carries. That's pretty damn good. I get that it was the Giants, and they don't exactly stop the run but still. 105 yards is 105 yards. It just is.
Today Pollard and the Cowboys will see a team in the Chicago Bears that aren't quite as bad as the Giants' run-stopping group but are still pretty bad. Only nine teams in the entire NFL are worse in terms of opponent yards per attempt. Even better, they are coming off a win, so they are all fat and happy, thinking they know what they are doing (they don't). I think Pollard runs wild today.
