Detroit Lions vs. Miami Dolphins Prediction
Raheem Mostert 100+ Rushing Yards (+300) (Bet $100 to Collect $400) FanDuel has the best odds, click here to bet
I love +300 bangers. They just feel different than the even money jump-offs. In fact, I'd say they feel at least three times better than even money moves. Maybe more. That's why I love the opportunity FanDuel gives us every single day with their ladder moves. To be fair, DraftKings isn't far behind here, as they have +260 for this same bet. Still, that's not as good as the +300 FanDuel is giving us.
Raheem Mostert is the Miami Dolphins' lead back. Everyone talked about Chase Edmunds in the offseason, but it was always Raheem. The guy is just a tank. He's getting work too. Over his last four games, he's run the ball 63 times and hasn't seen less than 14 carries in any game. Keep in mind; this is with a mixture of Skylar Thompson, Teddy Bridgewater, and Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback. He's getting Tua today.
It's not just the carries, though. We want the yards. All of them. I think Mostert can get them too. The haters will say that he only went over 100 when Tua was out, and while they are correct, they are still liars who can't be trusted. Even if they are telling the truth this time. What they are forgetting about is the fact that we have a secret weapon working for us this week. It's one that only one team gets to use each week, and it works every time.
That secret weapon is the Detroit Lions' defense. They are a special group that I honestly think should be able to play with 12 guys on the field. Or, at the very least, just let them pick certain drives where the extra guy is allowed. Only two teams in the NFL give up more rushing yards per attempt than they do. Two weeks ago, we saw Rhamondre Stevenson go for 160+ on them. The week before that, it was Rashaad Penny going 150+. Last week two Dallas Cowboys' backs combined for 140. I think Mostert gets his today.
