Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Denver Broncos Prediction
The Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars will duel things out from London on Sunday morning. These two teams have had rough starts to their season, bringing a record of 2-5 into the game today. Denver has undoubtedly been the more disappointing team, as this was a team slated to make the playoffs and potentially make some noise out of the AFC West, which coming into the season, was considered by many the best division in football.
Denver traded for Russell Wilson in the off-season, and at the time, the move looked great. Denver had one of the best defenses in the NFL last season, so the addition of Wilson made them a force to be reckoned with. It has been anything but that through seven games. Denver has one of the worst offenses in football at the moment, and Wilson looks like a shell of himself. Russ sat out last week due to an injury, but he is expected to be back in action for this game today. Jacksonville got off to a 2-1 start, but since then, they have lost four in a row.
Trevor Lawrence has not lived up to the hype in his first year and some change, and this is a defense that has struggled to close games. Despite the poor play, if they can turn things around, the AFC South appears to be wide open. Denver comes into this game as a two-point dog today.
I will ride Mr. Unlimited and the Broncos in this spot today. I know that nobody wants to back the Broncos right now, but this should be a solid spot for them to get a cover. I am not impressed with either of these offenses, but I have been very impressed with the Denver defense. I think that will be the difference today. I know it sounds crazy, but I still believe in Russ and trust at some point, this team turns it around and starts to produce points. Broncos Country, Let's ride!
