Buffalo Bills vs Minnesota Vikings Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Kirk Cousins Keep Minnesota's Win Streak Alive?
The Buffalo Bills are coming off a loss to the New York Jets on Sunday, which was not even the worst part of the day. It's been reported that Josh Allen could have a UCL injury in his elbow, potentially keeping him out of the starting lineup. Either way, he has an elbow injury, which would slow him down even if he ends up playing.
On the other hand, the Minnesota Vikings keep racking up wins. They're now 7-1 after defeating Washington 20-17 on Sunday. Can Minnesota take advantage of Josh Allen's injury?

Buffalo Bills vs. Minnesota Vikings Prediction
The Vikings are one of the more underappreciated teams in the NFL this season. They're sitting at 7-1 on the year, but if you tuned into NFL talk shows, you'd have no idea.
The Vikings have scored 24.1 points per game while allowing 20.1 points per game. The offense is led by Kirk Cousins, who has thrown 13 touchdowns and six interceptions. Cousins is one yard away from reaching 2,000 yards on the year.
Meanwhile, Dalvin Cook has added five touchdowns on the ground and has rushed for 608 yards on 131 carries. Justin Jefferson led the Vikings in receiving with 867 yards on 59 catches and three touchdowns.

The pass protection hasn't been elite, but the run block has done well for Cook, helping him find holes to run through.
The defense has also been tremendous. They've allowed 387.1 yards per game, but they've held teams to 111.3 yards on the ground. The run defense is easily the best portion of the defense. They've also been very good at rushing the passer.
The only area that needs a lot of improvement is the secondary for the Vikings. They've allowed over 275 yards per game in the air.
On the other hand, it's unclear if Josh Allen will start at quarterback for the Bills. Lines still indicate that they expect him to play.
Allen and the Bills have averaged over 425 yards per game, with over 300 yards in the passing game. Stefon Diggs has caught seven touchdowns from Allen, who has 19 total passing touchdowns on the season. Allen has also contributed on the ground with 62 carries for 392 yards and four touchdowns.
The Bills have struggled to get their running backs going. The run block has been very weak, which is one of the reasons why.
On defense, the Bills have struggled against the run a bit. They've allowed just 104.9 yards per game, but the Jets had plenty of big runs against them last week. Buffalo has also struggled in the tackling department but has a very good pass rush and a solid secondary to go with it.

Even if the Vikings commit to the run early against the Bills, they'll have success offensively. Meanwhile, the defense might not even have to worry as much going up against Josh Allen, who will be injured playing in this game, if he's even available.
Take the Vikings with the points.
