Thursday Night Football Under 42 (+101) - DraftKings (Alt Lines) (Bet $100 to Collect $201) -Â Click here for the best odds, available at DraftKings
This one is at DraftKings and is in the alt lines section. What you have to do is just like "Game Lines" and then scroll down to "Alternative Totals." You'll see magic. It's glorious in there. If you have to play at FanDuel, don't worry, they have the same thing. Just go into the game lines and look on the toolbar for "totals." Their version will have you going under 41.5. Both are fine, and I'd do them now because this line will move down.
I'm not a big weather guy, but the weather for this game will be pretty bad. I think they're playing in a named storm. Whether or not the storm is named or not, there is like a 90+% chance of rain, and the winds are 10 -15+ mph. The thing about the rain is it will be heavy rain, like the kind in Forest Gump that seemed to be coming up from the ground. I'd say that's an under-move. Obviously, I hate betting unders, but what the hell are we supposed to do with this?
From the Carolina Panthers perspective, they can't throw the ball anyway. Their quarterback, PJ Walker, threw for nine yards last week. Nine yards. Not trying to be a jerk, but I swear if you gave me an entire half of football and DJ Moore, I could pick up more than nine yards. I'm serious. I'm not even trying to make a joke. How the hell do you only throw for nine yards? Given that the weather is what it is, I'm thinking these guys don't score more than 13 points.
I know that the haters are going to say that the last time these teams played, the score was 37-34. Typically, the haters are in over their heads. First off, they played in a dome that day. Second, they score 37 points in the fourth quarter and overtime. Those were magic points, once-in-a-lifetime stuff. Marcus Mariota actually threw the ball that day. We're talking 28 times here. We've seen that guy have games where he only spun it 13 times. I think we're going to see a game played on the ground with nonsense everywhere. Not the good scoring nonsense, but the bad nonscoring nonsense. I don't think either team will score 20 points. Sad day for Thursday Night Football.
