Tyler Allgeier 40+ Rushing Yards (+148) (Bet $100 to Win $248)Â Click here for the best odds, available at FanDuel
Our patience paid off by waiting for this guy's numbers to come out at FanDuel. DraftKings has had him priced all day in the low 30s, but it took FanDuel literally all day to give us something to bet. The crazy part is, when they finally gave us something, it was the worst line I've ever seen in my life. We can literally climb a ladder on this guy all the way to the moon. His 50+ (+235) is worth a look, as well as 60+ (+370) and 70+ (+580). It's all deadly people.
Well, well, well, how the turntables turn. This kid was "the guy" in Atlanta while Cordarrelle Patterson was out, but now he's been relegated to the bench. These guys play a dirty game, but they know what to expect going in. This kid knew his playing time would take a hit once Cordarrelle was back. Allgeier is no dummy. Not by a long shot. This kid went to BYU. If I had to guess, I'd say he probably graduated with honors too.
Here's the thing about the whole Cordarrelle Patterson coming back. He came back last week and played 39% of the snaps, while Allgeier played 38%. That's not a big difference. Obviously, that could change a little tonight, but will it matter even if it does? I mean, Allgeier got 10 carries last week to Patterson's 13. I'm fine with that tonight. We only need 40 yards here people. That's not that many.
So far this season, only three teams have given up more rushing yards to running backs than the Carolina Panthers. You can literally see feet marks on all their defenders from where previous running backs have run them over. On top of that, tonight's game will be played in a rainstorm. The storm legit has a name, so it's not some run-of-the-mill storm we're talking about here. There could even be wind. I think we see a game that's played on the ground, and if that happens, this will go down as the greatest bet in the history of bets.
