Dolphins vs. Browns Predictions
Amari Cooper 70+ Receiving Yards (+116) (Bet $100 to Collect $216) Click here for the best odds, available at FanDuel
Donovan Peoples Jones 50+ Receiving Yards (+104) (Bet $100 to Collect $204) Click here for the best odds, available at FanDuel
We're at FanDuel for both of these, and they are separate bets. If you want, you can parlay them, but I'm not. I'd rather just go straight on both and collect the smallest profit if they split. I don't think they will, but you never know. Also, with the way FanDuel has ladders, we can just get crazy like that without parlaying if we want.
This one is all about the Cleveland Browns' opponent, the Miami Dolphins. Kind of. It's also about Cleveland's short target tree. David Njoku is set to miss this game, so there are fewer mouths to feed on the Browns side. And those mouths will need to be fed because the Dolphins are not a joke. They score at will on everyone, and the Browns give up 24 points per game. In fact, only six teams in the NFL are worse. I think we can expect the Dolphins to get loose today.
So once the Dolphins get wild, the Browns will have to do something other than stuff the ball into Nick Chubb's chest. We're talking throwing the ball to guys like Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones. In terms of Cooper, he's filthy and cannot be stopped. He's coming off a 131-yard game on Halloween, and he's from Miami, so he'll have family in the seats. Nobody wants to disappoint family, so 80+ (+178), 90+ (+230), 100+ (+370), 110+ (+550), and 125+ (+880) is all in play. Let's go for the kill.
In the case of Peoples-Jones, he's the best-kept secret in the NFL. A modern-day Rod Tidwell. He'll go anywhere on the field to catch a pass, including over the middle. In his last three games, he's gone 70+ in all of them. The Browns were rolling the Bengals last time out, too, and he still went 80+. Imagine if Cleveland was playing that game from behind as they could today. For that reason, we can go 60+ (+174), 70+ (+270), 80+ (+400), 90+ (+630), and 100+ (+830) on this guy today. These might be the greatest bets of all time people.
